InterSystems, Clinical Architecture unveil 'clinigraphic' to highlight relevant patient data

Clinicians can lose valuable time when they are forced to sift through volumes of patient records to locate the information they need at that moment to provide appropriate and effective care.
To help doctors and other clinicians find relevant patient data quickly and easily, health information technology vendor InterSystems has partnered with healthcare IT software provider Clinical Architecture to develop a “clinigraphic” presentation of condition-specific information contained in a patient’s  comprehensive, longitudinal record.
“At the touch of a button, healthcare providers can easily and efficiently view the most pertinent information for patients within a population health management cohort, including medication lists, comorbidities, and diagnostic tests related to a specific condition,” InterSystems said in a press release.
The clinigraphic technology, which leverages ontologies developed using Clinical Architecture’s terminology management tools, also helps identify previously undiagnosed or undocumented health conditions, InterSystems said.

Finding relevant patient data faster allows clinicians to make better decisions at the point of care, avoid medical errors, and improve healthcare quality and outcomes.
